11:30 am	Yo the ol' acoustic bass came yesterday, and new strings came this morning! So now I've got 2 sexy sounding basses in my room...OK now you know you're sad when you call a piece of wood sexy... We've decided 2 songs to play in our new band, plus some others my friend has written..They are Jungle Man and Hollywood by the Peppers off their album Freaky Styley. Check em out! Going over to his house tonight to practice...We haven't heard from the drummer my friend reckons he could get to join us, but fingers crossed...Also, finding a singer who is willing to sing "What I've Got u gotta get and put it in you" infront of dirty old men who've had a few to drink in pubs will be a challenge to find... 11:52 pm	not dead! Hey everyone! I haven't really spoken to anyone in ages cos u don't use msn anymore so i thought i might come on here to talk to y'all. Well, theres that, and Pyra told me to... Anywho still playin the bass, cept at this point in time im bassless, cos i bought an acoustic bass off of eBay, and manage to break a string on my electric one, and i'm waiting for new strings to come and the new bass! 12:15 am	Right, so i completely packed the job at the Farm shop now, because i think he's taking for me a ride, changing his mind every couple of hours. So now I have one job, and my parents want me to get another... Anyways! I managed to get the hang of the bass for "Under the Bridge" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Major Landmark! 10:36 pm	John Clemmence is a strange man. On Monday I was told that i had lost my job, because of too little business and too many staff. Now, he not only wants me to come back, but he wants me to work more hours...sheesh (3 Comments |Comment on this)

8:50 pm	Well yesterday i got laid off of one of my jobs, mainly because too many staff and too little business, and i guess its only fair if the part time summer job guy goes rather than the full time ones. Because of this, I...erm....looked at the wall over there....played around on the bass....and watched a bit of TV, and now I'm waiting for the parents to start pressuring to get another job, even though i have a spare one... 8:44 pm	I had a much better day at work today, despite the fact it was busier than normal. I don’t know why, but I managed much better today, whereas on a relatively quiet day I was struggling. I also managed to spill boiling water on my right hand whilst doing an order for 15 guys, but this didn’t affect the rest of the day. In the last hour of work, Matt, Jo, Shell and I were having loadsa fun watching Matt play with knifes (I didn’t want to show him up, so I didn’t bother ), and trying to flick up whipped cream and trying to catch it in various places… Then we made paper airplanes, which was pretty funny. Overall it was a pretty good day despite the pain in the hand! I also made huge progress on the bass, finally being able to get the slap bass technique to work, and now I can come up with some pretty basic but cool sounding basslines. I also got through to my Dad, and listened to the same old conversation, which has been unaltered for the past year now, but I think both of us secretly want to keep it that way. I also tried to phone my father, on the fifteen minute gap that his girlfriend has kindly alowed us. 8:58 pm	Every other day Well. I had an "interesting" discussion with Maker, Eric, and Motu last night, and thanks to that, i didn't get much sleep last night cos i couldn' stop laughing. Cheers mate. Well at work today, I i must of made 112,543,045.5 coffees today, and got a very sympathetic look from some old lady. 9:27 pm	The Journey begins Well, I finally decided to start up an account. What's happened to me today? Not a great deal. Went to work and lifted a tonne of Gas Canisters...That was fun...and spent the rest of the time in the Cafe, helping Jo, one of the girls who works there, and listened to her tell me how much she fancied one of the guys who comes in.
